DENVER, CO. A day we looked forward to for months became one of the darkest in US History – and a big bummer for fans of Tom Petty, in the wake of a low point in american history. Monday, October 2nd 2017 – the day after the now infamous, most deadly gun massacre in our history, the “Las Vegas Shooting.” We were fortunate to have dug our heels in and learned “American Girl” for our opening slot w/ the ever-strange and beautiful Landlady and the astonishing Ian Chang – and did what small in-the-moment attempt at healing we could muster.
